The London Image Festival has two sections, photography and cinematography.
If you are entering a film, go to the FILM AWARDS section and click through Withoutabox or Film Freeway to upload.
To enter photos, click on ENTER PHOTO COMPETITION. You’ll be then be prompted to join LIF for a free account to upload your files.
You should try to upload the highest-quality JPEGs,with a maximum size is 2MB. The file name should be under 50 characters.
Click the area labelled‘Photo Title’ and add the title there.
You can pay for your entry with PayPal, Visa or MasterCard.
Each series should be submitted separately with a separate description for each one. This will allow the jury to view each entry as a single body of work. Of course, we understand this entails twice the submission cost. If you are doubtful, you should submit the entry that you consider to be your strongest work.
You can submit as many times as you like — assuming you have lots of great images and you can afford to pay the entry feeeach time! We suggest, however, that you edit your photos judiciously and send us only your best attempts.
To enter LIF, you can only to submit your entries in digital format.
No, there are no time-based restrictions concerning when a photo was taken.

In entering the competition, you give authorization to London Image Festival (LIF) to display, print, and distribute your photographsin order to conduction and promote the LIF competitions.
Each photographer retains copyright of his or her images, and proper credit lines will be attributed to each photographer when used in any publicity of the LIF.
At this time, we are not offering any extensions. The deadline is final.
The LIF competitions are open to all photographers — from students, to emerging artists, to established professionals. We are also interested in all kinds of photography — from the sophisticated to the quirkyto the wildly experimental and those which embody hard-edged realism.
The judging will be completed after the competition deadline and winners will be announced shortly thereafter. You will be notified via email if you have been selected.
If your work is accepted, we will request the necessary reproduction materials at the time of organizing the exhibition.
No, entry fees are non-refundable.
By submitting these photographs to LIF, you declare that these are original works of art that you have personally created. You also release LIF and its agents, principals, employees or contractors from any liability regarding the display of work that you have submitted to them, including any liability for redisplay by individuals making copies of the display made by LIF. By agreeing to this release, you also declare that you are 18 years of age or older.
